English Lavender 'Munstead'

Lavandula angustifolia ‘Munstead’ is a compact shrub of medium growth This English Lavender grows more in width than in height and its dimensions vary in height between 50 and 60 cm while in diameter between 60 and 75 cm.

Anong its atractive characteristics are the gray-green aromatic foliage and of coursethe very fragrant pink-purple flowers. It blooms twice, with the first wave of bloom appearing in the middle of spring and the second in the middle of summer.

Lavandula angustifolia ‘Munstead’ is recommended not to be planted in areas with high atmospheric humidity because it is affected by phytopathogenic fungi. Still, in severe winters it may lose all of its leaves, but this is a normal reaction of the plant – in the spring they regrow.
